It's exciting and daunting, exhilarating and exhausting.  Working in education is the job you've always wanted to do ... and sometimes the one you most want to get away from.
Not infrequently, teachers and head teachers tell me,
"It's the worst job in the world.  It's the best job in the world"
So keeping staff morale afloat, building resilience to work-related stress, improving work-life balance, and paying attention to the well-being of all is crucial, especially in such uncertain and changing times.  And especially where it's so important to retain good staff and offer something extra in order to recruit new staff.
Did you know that  organisations are required by the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) to provide evidence that work-related stress is regularly assessed and addressed?
I can help schools and organisations address this.
Working4wellbeing, is enthusiastic about supporting Headteachers, school governors, leadership & management teams, and staff across all roles in getting the best they can from their work ... so that they can give the best they can to the children and young people in their care.

'If no-one looks after the people who look after the children,
Who will look after the children?'
So this term, my focus is on providing -
  • Headteachers' Performance Support & Resilience  programmes.  One colleague commented that this programme has kept her in the job
  • Similar programmes for Headteachers for the Oxford Diocesan Board of Education
  • One-to-one counselling support for teachers, headteachers and those outside of education - including young people at University
I can provide a place to talk about stress (work-related or otherwise), anxiety, depression and a range of related topics, all of which can at times put intolerable strain on us.
Why not get in touch with me to talk through what you might need?

It's so good to know that I can get support when I need it - for me and for my staff.
A big 'thank you'! Headteacher
